Kirale's story[]
Kirale appears for the first time as a little orphan in the post-asian slums in Cocoon Planet, stunningly untouched by gentrification; since the traditional job for orphans, the little match-seller, has estinguished long ago (pun intended), she has to make a living cheering for the beggars in exchange for a share of the alms.
Kirale’s talent and abilities make her pretty famous, so much so as to attract the attention of Madame Ona, owner of the most ill-famed circus in the whole Tower, who hires her as a trapeze artist. Circus life gets damning for Kirale, forced to perform tedious acrobatic exercises without shinig for her cheerleading abilities. Her only friend is Taikomochi the clown, who’s used to gift her bows he gets through shady agreements with the local mafia.
One day, during the performance of the most dangerous circus routine, aptly called “Double down gangster kick flip”, which includes a fake incursion by the Acrobatic Mafia, a real incursion happens, by gangsters sent to settle Taikomochi’s debt with the Kami, most famous crazy dwarf scientists; he gets wasted by a hit in the big toe, while Kirale falls from the trapeze and gets left for dead. The Kami, not being able to get to the clown’s bank account, smartly moved to a fiscal paradise, moved by some measure of piety take Kirale with them, willing to experiment on her their last inventions.
Kirale gets saved by a corageous cyber-chirurgic operation, where the Kami implant her with Bowty-chan, a robotic symbiont enraged by the bow-shape he got (dwarves and symbionts have been dragging this feud since Taikomochi had suggested it in the development phase). When she wakes up, Kirale is so grateful that decides to cheer for the good result of the operation, demolishing good chunks of the laboratory because of her inability to control the arms; actually, it’s a defect that traces back to the last model. Sorry and ashamed for her lack of control, Kirale decides to join Ultrasclash to get the funds, cheering, to finance the Kami’s research for the ultimate man-machine.
