"A giant with a rubber heart"- a poet with a peculiar rock
Young Golem's story[]
Mr. F. Ordismo, a pale and unscrupulous millionaire, sets off on an expedition into the depths of the Tower to satisfy his thirst for money and stuff in general: what he finds exceeds all his expectations. Golem! Or rather, sketches, plans and instruction booklets to build, engraved on dusty stone tablets. An idea immediately springs to mind. Back in Capek Street, his hometown, he immediately founds a new factory for the construction of obedient and indefatigable automata, calling it the Golem Universali di Ordismo, or G.U.O.
Golems are starting to be produced in large numbers and for every job: on the outside they are roughly constructed, while on the inside they are anatomically perfect, albeit synthetic. After being assembled as cars, they are collected in warehouses waiting to be used.
Due to Ordismo's greed, more and more golem production lines are added, up to the Gimel line, or G Line, as its workers call it; and in the meantime, to save money, the quality of work is getting worse and worse!
Unable to speak but with a certain charm and certainly not shy, golems begin to develop a parallel society, founded on the solid principles of rubbing gears and protected exchange of body oil.
Fate prepares itself pretty well until, in a common nonscioperodì, something finally happens. A defective golem is assembled on the G Line, with a short stature and a rubber heart that constantly squeaks. These characteristics exclude him from the elegant circles of the golem society, proverbially severe in accepting only high and silent members; therefore he is exiled and called Young Golem.
During an oil supply, he falls into the hut occupied by the family who built it; alienated parents are not particularly concerned about it, but their daughter, Lil ’Wanda, is super excited. He finally found a fairy, just like in fairy tales! Yg is immediately adopted, and good manners are taught. Over time, develop a bond with Wanda, bullying bullies and squishando hearts. Furthermore, surprising everyone, he breaks one of the fundamental taboos of golemitude: learn to speak in sign language and become an irresistible chatterbox!
Mr. Ordismo begins to notice the bizarre behavior of this particular golem and, believing that it is a distraction for the workers, sends his henchmen and has him deactivated!
Desperate Lil ’Wanda recovers him with great effort and stages a Great Tea Ceremony, dressing him as Alice and hoping to reactivate him. W gets used to this daily ritual, during which she tells him what happened to her during the day and decorates it following the latest fashions of Cocoon Planet.
Alas, one day, during the festival of Sportatale, while YG is dressed like the traditional Balloon Tree, Ordismo still slings in the shack and surprises Wanda who takes his golem; frightened, she spills all the tea on him, infuriating him and starting a flaked lecture. YG ACTIVATES itself, driven by the protection instinct; as soon as his heart rises, ill-fixed, he pops out, striking Ordismo directly in the face, stunning him with a loud and satisfying squish.
It was the signal that the inhabitants of the factory were waiting for! A riot takes hold, led by Wanda astride YG. The evil Ordismo is chased away, thanks to the collaboration between golems and humans. Due to the insistence that activated him and the bond with the girl, YG is chosen to participate in UC.
